Meet Jesse Fernandez at SVUS Awards

Jesse Fernandez is a 12-year comedian, writer and producer for AJ+'s hit comedy show, Newsbroke, and teaches stand-up comedy at Google. He’s written for The Onion Inc. Network, the funniest parts of your favorite TED Talks, and eBaum’s World (yes, they’re still around). He’s been featured in 9 SF Sketchfests, presented research at The International Society For Humor Studies Conference, and he’s won the Speechless improvised powerpoint competition and the National College Comedy Competition.

Among the countless people he’s opened for as a stand-up are Maria Bamford (from Netflix’s Lady Dynamite), Andy Kindler (judge on NBC’s Last Comic Standing), Mary Lynn Rajskub (from Fox’s 24), and even Steve-O (you know what he’s from).
